Subject: Congratulations on being accepted into TUFF!

Dear Jeff and Mike,

I am very pleased to inform you that your film 'Hey Baby' was selected
for inclusion in the Toronto Urban Film Festival, running from
September 9-18, 2011. It will screen as part of a nine film programme
called 'Instant Gratification' on September 15th. The films in this
program will screen one film every ten minutes, all day.

63 films were selected this year, out of a total of 375 submissions
from 30 countries. All selections were made by our 2011 Jury, which
reviewed and discussed all submissions before coming up with the list
of official selections. These selections were then organized into
thematic programs. Internationally acclaimed Canadian filmmaker Atom
Egoyan, our guest judge for 2011, will be selecting the top three films
of the festival as well as the Naish Award for Emerging Filmmakers. The
jury will select the winning films for our other awards.

TUFF is seen by an audience of over 1.3 million daily commuters
on the subway platforms of Toronto's transit system. Your film
will cycle throughout the day with the other films in your program.
Again this year, TUFF is pleased to announce that four Film Zones will
air TUFF content non-stop during the entire 10 days of the festival,
on screens in select downtown stations.

As well, the films will be available on our website for viewing
and voting as of September 7th. Voting takes place September 7th to
September 16th, so don't forget to get your friends to vote! Audience
votes determine the schedule for the final Saturday of the festival,
and the Audience Choice Award.

Attached is a contract that must be filled out and returned before
we can include your work in the festival. Deadline for returning
the contract is Friday August 19th.  You can fax back a signed copy

We pay artist fees: $50 for screening on the Onestop TTC Network,
and $50 for inclusion on our website.

IMPORTANT DATES

The TUFF opening Press Conference on Friday Sept 9th at 10:30am,
on the Southbound Platform of Dundas Station (Dundas Square entrance).

New this year, TUFF is hosting a panel discussion on ultra-short
film/video, urban screens and public art. Panelists: Janine
Marchessault, Rebecca Carbin, Angie Driscol. Please join us at the
DRAKE Hotel on Wednesday Sept. 14th at 6pm.

Can't make it to the subway? Want to watch the films in a casual
atmosphere? Drop by the TUFF Screening Room at the DRAKE Hotel,
Sept. 16th - 18th, 11am - 5pm.

Finally, we invite you to attend the TUFF Closing Party & Awards
Ceremony on Sunday September 18th, 6-10 pm at The Drake Hotel in
Toronto. A great party with amazing food and drink; all official
selections are screened, and prizes are presented to our various
award winners.
